Join our campaign – In Sight In Mind

Our new campaign In Sight In Mind, with the Royal college of Psychiatrists, aims to end inappropriate out of area rehabilitation placements in services and is calling for investment in local services instead.

Mental health rehabilitation services - not to be confused with drug or alcohol rehab - are for people with the most long-term and enduring mental health conditions.

Many rehabilitation patients are sent for treatment outside the area where they live, making it harder to keep in touch with friends and family and weakening the link with their community services, which often results in people staying in hospital for longer.

To join the campaign to keep people #InSightInMind, add your details below and also receive all our latest campaigning news.

Also, if you or someone you know has been sent to an out of area rehabilitation service, share your story with us to help make the case for why these services should be located in the communities they serve.

Please let us know below what you're happy to receive from Rethink Mental Illness.
